Conventional gas station style format charging does NOT work for batteries. You cant take 1 hour to charge your car, or more directly, you cant wait for the guy in front of you to charge his car for one hour and then take a second hour to charge your car. It DOES NOT WORK. And stations can not build out peak fueling slot space, there isn't enough room and they cant afford the real estate.
