An active participant in the development of the ATM industry, Joni has more than 25-years experience in transaction and payment processing. In the last decade, Joni has led the high-growth efforts of two of the nation’s Top 10 organizations in the eCommerce and payments processing industries – as executive vice president of Affiliated Computer Services (NYSE:ACS) Electronic Commerce Group and as the Chief Operating Officer of the GTCR Golder Rauner L.L.C. portfolio company, TransFirst Holdings, Inc., the Country’s 9th largest payment processing organization, with over $22 billion in annual sales volume, delivering specialized merchant acquiring services to over 160,000 merchants. During Joni’s tenure with TransFirst, she managed efforts that resulted in consistent top and bottom line growth while expanding profitability; TransFirst gross revenues grew from $82 million to $602 million, representing a 64% 4-year CAGR with EBITDA growth in excess of 80% CAGR.

While gaining over 25-years of day-to-day management in a variety of roles running operations, P&L management, marketing, sales, business development, recruiting, vendor management and technical solutions, Joni has also supported expansive growth via acquisition and integration of a multitude of acquired companies. In 2005, The Electronic Transactions Association Transaction Trends Magazine in named Joni as the “Acquiring Acquirer”. Joni has a particular expertise in strategic acquisitions that maximize an organization’s growth through unique vertical market initiatives.

Since 2006, Joni has partnered with various privately held investment banking firms, most recently Anvil Investments, LLC , as an entrepreneur in residence and operating partner leading management consulting practices focused on the transaction and payment processing sectors. With expertise in business development and advisory services centered in M&A offerings and niche markets, Joni’s clients range from a healthcare payment processing company to an online commerce and social community platform for the footwear industry, shuzsociety. Joni has served as investor, incubator, advisor and principal to many start-up and early stage companies over the last several years delivering a unique blend of practical experience and new media marketing to traditional processes.

Joni is a member of W-Net, the payment industry’s trade organization for female executives, serving as a mentor in their management development program.
