Since they are using white label software to manage the appointments, that money is likely after all fees and such. The key here to remember is the branding. Let's say they have the opportunity to brand into a few affiliate clinics in an area and then also open a corporate clinic.
A. They build the brand and get name recognition.
B. Patients might find the newer location better suited so it might move their business there.
C. They likely have a bigger pool of staff if needed.

That's just to name a few. I'm not saying they should open all out affiliate clinics, but I am saying a balance where due is good. IE: Area A may have a bunch of clinics already, Area B the same, Area opportunity for corp clinic. Why not have a name in all of them.
