Vet centers are like eyeglass/vision centers. They're all being acquired and rolled up by the large corporations. Any vet worth going to is affiliated with either VCC or VCA, and they will have the required licenses to handle radioactive material. And Y-90 is the safest of all the isotopes to handle. With the short wavelength and short half life, there are is minimal risk to clinicians. The false narrative that it is somehow dangerous to handle is a non issue. Radiogel will soon be a blockbuster product in the vet space

The other false narrative that people can't afford the treatment is a non issue. Most pet owners are responsible people, likely with jobs and decent credit. Most corporate vet centers extend credit just like a furniture store or department store. It is quite easy and affordable to pay for the treatment, especially if your paying $50 or $100 a month to pay it off. The majority of pet owners will pay to save the life of their beloved pet
