Again, let me help you with the math. To attain your easy $580MM annual revenue number, you have to sell 2,320,000 units per year at $250. Are you with me so far? Your current maximum production of units is 6000, with lets say the same from 2 more facilities in process- 18,000 per month. Still with me? 18,000 per month is 216,000 per year. There is then a shortfall of 2,104,000 units that will be on backorder that year. Hope you are still there. At 18,000 production units per month, you divide that into the shortfall. That would be 2,104,000/18,000= 116.89 months to fulfill orders placed that year. 116.89/12 months= 9.74 years. You are correct, my number was off by 3 months and a couple of days. I did the original post in my head. Thanks for pointing out my massive error. I'll be more careful next time.
