I offer a slightly different perspective why to not sell all the BORK stock now and follow the suggestion to wait until at least near the end of the year. Unless there is some urgent need for the money from the sale, and the primary, or only, benefit is a tax loss, then postponing the sale to the year end costs you nothing, and if anyone's hope of a better day comes to a reality, then you may have reason to hold until until after that.

I know a few shareholders who believe their stock is near worthless who make this an annual December decision. Once the new year comes, then there is little or no further consideration of a sale until either the stock has a positive reason to hold, or the end of the next year arrives.

I know two investors who have sold stock near the end of a year for the tax loss, and then waited more than 30 days to avoid the wash sale status, and then bought the stock back. Some may debate whether the buyback is wise, but then it is not our place to judge them.

As for me, I don't have any motivation to sell my shares at this time.
