Agree that the final results are what's relevant. Final results will dictate the type of deal the company gets for Prurisol.

The only thing I find disconcerting is the way we found out that the next data point for Prurisol is likely to be top line results instead of getting the interim.

I expect the company to say something by end Sept too, in a blog or opportunistically appended to a PR about some other development. I'm not sure about the wisdom of waiting until EOQ (or not saying anything at all). The market isn't impressed. But in the end that's irrelevant. What's relevant for me as an investor are the final results.

I'm also not convinced about the ostensible reason for the change of mind. Having a high number of people already finished would reduce final result bias, not increase it. Unless I'm missing something. Not to mention that since recruitment went slowly then it is less likely to have an unanticipatedly "high" number of completed patients at any time.

Frankly it's just a bit strange and disappointing. But biotech takes patience, and risk appetite. It's why the returns have such high potential.
