Anybody could have gone to OCTMarkets, and looked up the status of NEWC.
Except for the word in red, the delinquent notice has been there for some time:

Seeing the word delinquent over at OTCMarkets might have scheduled a road trip over to the EDGAR section of sec.gov, just to see how long it has been since a 10-Q or a 10-K was filed. UPLOADS and COMMENTS are a good read also:
