Unfortunately, this seems more the the obvious devil's advocate approach used here so often.

First DirectTV has a million channels of garbage and is a large reason I turned TV off for good. I don't mind spending money but for poor service and same programs repeatedly, hell no.

That is exactly why these companies are gaining ground on cable and satellite. Variety and price.
