I doubt the SEC was laughing when they wrote this litigation release regarding marking the close - the same issue which occurs on a weekly if not daily basis with MRIB....

The Commission's complaint....alleged that the defendants participated in a scheme to manipulate and inflate the price of XXXXXX stock....The complaint alleged that the defendants artificially raised and maintained the price of XXXXXX stock and created a false or misleading appearance with respect to the market for XXXXXX stock through manipulative practices such as placing buy orders at or near the close of the market in order to inflate the reported closing price (marking the close)....

IT APPEARS THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IS OCCURING WITH MRIB's TRADING.
