Ok let me rephrase, do you think this is the best way to handle it? Personally I don't, I think it shows weakness and gives the appearance of non follow through.

Like you said there could be very valid reasons but why not be transparent?

I feel there are much better ways to handle this than "well if your going to be mean to us, you get nothing".

Seems awfully juvenile for a company expecting to hit 50 mil in revs in the next 4 years.
