Is he just walking away & leaving all that money on the table ?
Look at it this way (the way I understand it )
You have 10 share holders who have 1 share each worth $1.00
1 guy walks away with his share. He burns his share.
Now you have 9 guys left with their $1.00 share.
Their $1.00 share is still only worth $1.00
They do not split the $1.00 remnants the exited share was worth.
Sure, the EPS of the remaining 9 shares goes up, but the
price of the bloody things stay at $1.00
