That's funny. Can anyone cite the law you are referring to? The one that states a former CEO having a DUI is unable to serve as executive for a publicly traded company?

I don't know of any such law. Which makes me believe this is one persons personal opinion. Why is personal opinion important in matters of stocks current and future value?
