KNOW YOUR CEO
I think it's important to know your CEO.
I scoured the internet back in May 2017 to learn all I could about the CEO.
Here is what I came away with, based on news reports lawsuits court cases.
It all begins in Spartanburg South or North Carolina, don't recall which. Evidently a privileged family with arab horses the father, now deceased, was soon to be in financial trouble to the tune of millions, there is a story on the net of the father buying a sports car for his daughters birthday (but not paying for it) and the sellers eventually tracked the daughter down on the roads and took the car by force with her insisting that they give her a ride home. She let them take the car though.
Then we fast forward a few decades to pacific northwest, where the husband, a stock broker, is operating a motor vehicle after having been witnessed in a bar drinking, and he has a waitress in the car, supposedly "taking her to a job interview" at another bar.
While on this mission of mercy in the early afternoon of a weekday his car impacts a motorcycle killing the female passenger and permanently debilitating the driver.
Charges, manslaughter I believe, were filed and the case had wide local tv coverage, especially when after several years it was tossed because the blood alcohol evidence was deemed "tainted" or otherwise inadmissible. The ceo can be seen entering the courthouse on local tv in one clip.
Then the move to menlo park ca. The husband is still with the same brokerage and appeared to maintain a residence in the pac nw as well as a new residence in menlo park.
Im certain that all of this has to weigh on a person who is also charged with managing and being successful with a publicly traded company.
