ROP Pharma AB lists its address in Uppsala Science Park Sweden. The holders of the patents are Ann Hellstrom and Lois Smith, and it is titled "determination of risk and treatment of complications of prematurity". The patent describes the use of IGF for the prevention of ROP, but does not discuss IGF:IGFBP-3. If I remember correctly Celtrix holds a patent for the use of the complex in treating eye diseases which may or may not cover ROP. Ann Hellstrom is from the University of Gotenburg and Lois Smith from Harvard (http://www.childrenshospital.org/cfapps/research/data_admin/Site175/mainpageS175P0.html. They have been working together for years on this indication.
