Got to see a copy of the direct mail flyer Seaview sent to Bar & Restaurant Owners. It was an inexpensive 2-page b&w flyer that offered the SecureView at the same price that's offered to shareholders. It showed a couple of pictures of the "bulbs" and had a fax-back order form. There was also a list of FAQ's. IMO it was quite well written, very much in the "sans BS" mode of our new team. It should be effective.

If McBride & Assoc. wrote it, I'd have to say they did quite well. But, if they designed it, they came up wanting. The mailing really lacks "image". I think it should have been a full color piece, with not only color photos of the product, but with a photo captured off the TV screen to show potential customers the superior quality of SecureView. In a Direct Mail campaign like this, the major cost is the mailing, the list, and the postage. To use 4-color process doesn't increase the total cost that much. (BTW, George, if printing cost is a problem, PM me... that's my business and I'll print for SEVU stock.)

While the new boys are working on sales and production, perhaps McBride & Assoc. should start working on a new image
that will reflect where Seaview will be a year from now.
