NCOIC members are encouraged to read and share “Interoperability: Saving Lives and Money,” a briefing paper that was submitted to and reviewed by President Donald Trump earlier this year. Preparing the paper were Consortium leaders: Harald Kujat, Advisory Council Chairman; Harry Raduege, CEO; Dr. Thomas Cellucci, Board Member; and Dr. Doug Rosendale, Board Member.
The paper gives an overview of the billions of dollars spent each year to enable defense and security products/services to operate together and how these unnecessary expenses waste time, delay action and have negative effects on key sectors of the economy and on society. It explains how cross-domain interoperability can significantly reduce costs and speed up the exchange of vital information.
