Hello everyone. I intented to hold off on any postings till the company put out the 10k and the 10q. I have been reading the postings on ragging bull and would like to respond to some of the remarks made by those posters.
First-Any investor or potential investor should contact the company to find out, first hand, what is truth and what is rumor or fiction. GCC has setup the means by which an investor can get this information. One-by calling IR at 1-866-696-4242 or by e-mailing Jon.ir@greaterchinacorp.com
Second-Richard George has decided to post on rb. This is his decision. There is no statute that prevents him from voicing his opinion. I have read his few posts and see nothing wrong with his comments.
Third-the concern by some people of giving out their e-mail address or phone/fax number to a company official seems questionable. A company has a list of all the investors, it has their SS#, their full name, phone#, mailing address and broker's name. When an investor calls, say the ir person, their name is put on record as having called. The ir person uses this information, with the okay from the investor, to offer them the option to be put on an elert list. When the company puts out a pr or SEC filing, each one of these investors gets an e-mail alerting them. They don't have to waste time going to a message board or stock quote site-it is sent direct.
Fourth-here on IHUB the posters can be screened if they break certain rules. Some may call this censorship. If that is their opinion then their option is to post on another board. Rules of the road keeps our society in harmony.
Fifth-most investors in this company have accepted the fact that the SEC filings are way overdue. They also realize that most Chinese issues have seen tremendous upside in their share price. GCC has, so far, lagged way behind. The great hope is that GCC's directors and officers will finally see this fact and make the SEC filings their #1 priority. Those of us who have supported GCC for these many years remain positive or else the share price would not have held to it's current level.
Sixth-it is my opinion that the 10K & 10Q's will be made public in the next 60 days. A call to ir confirms this opinion.
