One good thing is that it gives you free time to get things done in the car, and safely. So you can text, call, use a laptop, read... whatever, and you are going from one location to another.

Another thing is how it can potentially make things better. There's a lot of bad drivers out there, if you get them out of the driver seat then there can be less car accidents. There will be much less reckless driving as well, and less chance of driving drunk.

There's definitely a huge market for this sort of technology.
