Fair enough. To the previous poster I think it's relevant because the world is a copy cat league. Think about themodel that the criminal thief patent stealers follow. Don't sign a license, steal the tech, get sued, challene the patents in the ptab, hire a unrelated 3rd party to challenge in addition to you, delay delay delay, pressure the stock, force patent co. to raise dillutive money and eventually run them out of the biz and keep the IP. This has been going on for years w/o much of a fight from the opposition. Look at VHC. They've won at almost every turn and what do they have to show for it. Not much, but immeasurable damage to their stock, illegal shorting of it, cash burn, etc etc.

For the first time you are looking at a patent holding company that is taking it to the opposition, sticking it to the PTAB and the courts and with an argument that actually is brilliant, has merit and could stand up to legal challenge all while making it very difficult to overturn. It could change the whole landscape of the crooked PTAB process. If you are hoping that the two cases infront of the CAFC and Scotus will help out WDDD's then you should be very interested in this development even if WDDD's more than likely decides not to pursue it.
