Why you didn't wait for J&J to drop their 18 million of shares?

That position will be a brokered deal to a fund, if it happens. May not happen right away. I know of a few situations where a big pharma kept the shares for substantial periods after terminating programs.

Knowing when to buy can be tough, I view threshold levels for buy-in spots. I will often buy up to 10 tranches to build what I believe is an undervalued equity, and over a couple month time frame. Worked really well in the early days for INCY, REGN, IDEC and a few others as notable buys after 'bad' news. I will likely trade around this longer term hold, as I had been doing already.
