I see a lot of talk about the two cases in front of scotus and the cafc and how they might affect wddd's one way or the other, more than likely on the positive side. Why is nobody talking about Allergan's patent protection through selling their patents to an Indian tribe that cannot be sued due to their sovereign nation status. That is such a brilliant legal move and one that is sure to be copied by all patent holding companies. It totally avoids the PTAB and IPR process completely yet nobody here is talking about it. It completely neuters the PTAB and it's patent killing machine. This happened last Friday and either people here don't get it, haven't read it or don't care.
