This is not what I was expecting.

I think shorts see this waiting game as an opportunity. There have been a few short spikes this morning as well as other shorting to pull this stock down. Hard to know where this downtrend will take us. If it continues, it could be just short of ugly. If there is an infusion of buyers (which we have seen recently), then the stock could pop up unexpectedly.
