Nice to see the latter half of that video demonstrating the mass production side of things. This is the start of what Sigma has been waiting for. I do not buy into the 'GE isn't using us' theory at all. I see their push into this shop floor scenario the start of a big working relationship with GE. Sigma is what will connect all those machines with reliable certified printing and data producing the cost and time efficiencies the whole mass production scenario is supposed to achieve. I do not see how GE can do it effectively using only traditional post processing of CT and Xray scanning.

I would be extremely careful of writing GE off, they have spent the last year perfecting their purchases of Arcam and Concept, moulding it into their vision, and now they are starting to show off their designs and shortly put it into practice. If they really want to create this new process at a speed and reliability now possible they will need to reduce post process to in-process. No one has yet offered up any better solution than our IPQA on a mass production scale. Write them off at your peril.
