With both the transmitter and receiver "stick out" to the open upon pairing detection, it will get best RF performance (hence faster charging time). Yes, this GaN power amplifier will make it even better.

This should make near field (approved) performance superior than Qi.

Hopefully it can make mid field (to be approved) performance "reasonable"

With charge on the go (anywhere), you don't need great charging performance.

Find it hard to believe Apple not adopting it. Give away is Apple insistence of custom transmitter platform.
