Not sure what the app does. I do know it is illegal to block any phone from being able to make a 911 call. Again, I think calls are almost as distracting. Our nav is just as distracting when looking for a restaurant or another place of business. It won't let the passenger do certain things, too. One question I have is what does the app do to the other phones in the car - other than the drivers. Go ONCI
