Low-the response below is from a BSE floor trader who was kind enough to answer my inquiry as to the listing of GTE.maybe this will help your tinfoil hat thoughts of getting to know what the BIG BOYS are doing.my thought is that GTE was just part of the package deal.I hope to get further information tomorrow.

" The BSE has recently gone from trading roughly 2000 stocks to 7800; or all “Reg. NMS” stocks. The exchange is rolling out 2 new products in the next couple of months…..”BeX” and “Level” automatic trading system, which will allow customers to trade all of these securities. However, it should be noted that the vast majority of these stocks will not have a specialist or a market maker so the BSE will act much like the 3rd market in those cases.
