BUT - it doesn't have a Cellular Failover Backhaul capability, and it doesn't support the ability or capability for the service provider to actually connect to the router and provide troubleshooting. Remember, I think you need to compare the ROVR to an AT&T Uverse router, and makes sense when you figure that Gil is behind this.

If you don't have AT&T Uverse service you may not be familiar but when you subscribe to AT&T's Uverse then AT&T supplies the combo modem/router in one package and they have the ability to connect to the router and monitor and troubleshoot if you open a call with a problem. So in my setup at home I actually have my Linksys router behind the Uverse router because the Linksys has a few extra features like time restrictions for my kids, lol. But I think the ROVR will have this built in as well.

That's what I was saying in a previous post, that the Telco that asked for this [I believe we think it was Vodafone] but obviously Bharti Airtel wants it as well, also wants the same ability to monitor the router from the network side as a complete package. So I believe Gil, being very familiar with AT&T said, "sure, we can do that!"

The Netgear is still strictly the end users responsibility and if the end user has a problem he won't get much support from any telco. Same with D-Link.
