Yes there has been and more importantly will be.

DHL has made smart glasses a standard in their operation. That means that from now on they are constantly ordering smart glasses. It's not about one big order but constant flow of orders when new more efficient picking process is taken into use warehouse by warehouse. Other big logistics companies are also coming onboard later since no-one wants to give DHL permanent 10-15% cost advantage if they want to stay in business. This means maybe 300k - 500k potential glasses plus steady 100k - 150k per year (since these things last about three years on average).

Similarly field service firms, especially in the US, are taking smart glasses into use and seeing dramatic improvements in their top and bottom line. That means that all the other firms need to follow since they really have just two choices. Either follow the leaders and start using smart glasses or go out of business since they cannot compete anymore. Vuzix has sold already many thousand glasses to these field service firms and there are over a million more to be sold in coming years plus 300k steady state substitution market.

These are just two examples, there are many more. So as any sensible person can see smart glasses as a industry is really starting to grow right now and future potential is huge. And Vuzix as one of the leaders, if not the leader, is going to get its piece of the business.
