One World Cannabis Ltd, a wholly owned Israeli subsidiary of OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. (OTCQB:OWCP), is focused on discovering, developing, and commercializing cannabis-based novel therapeutic products and treatments. Initially, the company is developing treatments for multiple myeloma, psoriasis, fibromyalgia, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), and migraines.

While cannabis has been used as medicine for thousands of years, there is minimal clinical data supporting its medical benefits. One World Cannabis is proceeding with clinical trials to create scientifically sound cannabis medicines for various medical conditions. One World Cannabis intends to investigate specific cannabis strains, combinations of the cannabinoids THC and CBD, and optimal dosages.

The company’s first clinical trials explore potential treatments for fibromyalgia, psoriasis/basal cell carcinoma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and seizures. The second set of clinical trials, which have not yet begun and are not yet funded, are anticipated to focus on the development of cannabis medicines for Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Tourette’s syndrome, migraines, chronic pain, Alzheimer’s disease, pediatric epilepsy, prostate cancer, and diabetes.
