It's not quibbling to point out a misrepresentation and you just repeated yours more than once:
"My point was that It does not require "acceptance"."
Of course it does. (Is it quibbling to take note of that?)

"You qualify via pretty basic requirements(w/r to product registration, sales management, brand protection, etc),and if you have those, your accepted."
I'm sure it was unintentional but you left the most important specific qualification out. (That can't possibly be quibbling.)

You said, using all caps, that "ANYONE can fill out the paperwork and enroll in ABR".
And I repeat....THAT'S NOT TRUE. That isn't quibbling.

And now to say that ""ANYONE" was based on the assumption you would be a candidate for ABR" is like saying that while you said "ANYONE" you didn't really mean "Anyone". That's incomprehensible.

I quoted the very specific and very non-trivial reason why ANYONE can't just "fill out the paperwork and enroll in ABR" as it appears on the Amazon page that YOU linked. Feel free to go back and look at it. Or not.

If Trademarking a product didn't serve a purpose or have some value no one would bother to do it. Millions have been won and lost based on the existence, or absence, of a trademark.

"Equating over-selling/hyping to create an illusion with generalizing over who might qualify for ABR enrollment is a stunningly poor application of similar "offenses".
One is mean't to deceive."

You're right. I'm sure that your "deception" was unintentional. But I personally found both deceptions equally offensive....that is to say "not very". You're obviously free to disagree but I have nothing further to say on the subject. I will reiterate however that signing up for the Amazon Brand Registry is not a bad thing and if I was the CEO of a small public company and in a similar circumstance I'd make my company's participation known without hesitation. Calling it a "major accomplishment" is where I would draw the line, but it's not the meaningless act that you portray it to be by stating that ANYONE can do it.

But can it core A apple?
Yes Ralph, of course it can core A apple.
