Agreed. And that's exactly what I did back in the day when I was meeting with GM. A side trip to Lansing to meet with Mayor Bernero and others never hurt. But, government legislation will kill this golden goose faster than anything. If you sit back and think about it, it really is the last thing we want. Who monitors it? How can the info be used? Can the insurance company be subpoenaed by government agencies for info? Can a government agency use the info to track you, follow you, find you, pick you up without a warrant? This is a pretty slippery slope that I would rather not be on.

I do commend Steve on chasing down all leads. But this software coupled with our abusive government is just bad ju-ju. This should be completely private sector and completely voluntary.
