This "carrot" sounds pretty substantial if it is for real. I can't imagine it not being for real given the threat of litigation from shareholders. What is striking is the amount of convertable notes to be forgiven with this deal. THe elephant in the room is of course WHY???? Could it be that there really is significant interest in some kind of partership of BO from BP?? I certainly don't claim to know, and don't really know that much about this company although I own a few 1000 shares (46). It sounds tempting for voting yes. I haven't decided, but it will be interesting the effect on trading today---that will say alot.
