no, where GV worked was in Florida, it crossed the state as category 1. GV never worked in Louisiana where final landfall was. yes, the flooding is a huge deal and not a GV issue, but the power grid is a big deal as well...just like how the damage of Hurricane Katrina in Florida was overshadowed by the damage in New Orleans and Slidell etc
