You're raising a red flag needlessly. Some people like (need) getting a check for their work as they do it as opposed to waiting years for an equity stake to pay off. This inventor is getting paid to continue developing the product. He's involved, deeply, so don't waste time worrying. If you'll go back and read the articles I posted here from Dr.KSS either Thurs or Fri all this is included. Note: These articles are from 12/2014 and 1/2015, so they're a little dated.
