They were likely waiting to see if there was going to be another update, but since it's evident the CEO is shady and information is only being shared selectively, then those folks are taking their cash elsewhere -- why risk it?

As far as profit-taking, there's nothing wrong with holding a core, but to hold without locking in profits along the way is a terrible strategy.
