Luckys Market Update,,,,I visited it this afternoon on the way home. The Kona Gold is being sold as singles in a refrigerated section near the deli. I will admit that the Kona Gold can definitely sticks out compared to the surrounding offerings. The sugar free can would be totally lost if not stocked next to the bold gold on black can. I will also admit that I had to ask for assistance to locate it but I've never been in a Luckys Market which makes this a non issue.
Luckys Market is located in the same store where a Whole Foods used to be. This may be their strategy in securing an established customer base that doesn't want to drive a few more miles to aquire basically the same product. The store was clean and the employees were happy to help.
I grabbed a few cans of regular Kona Gold, one piece of spinach lasagna, a salmon loaf, a pound of turkey/corn salad,a container of fresh baked Madelines, and a round bar of farmers lemon soap. LOL
Do you get what I'm saying?
I went there for Kona Gold and left with much more. Checkout took about 5 minutes,that's where the soap came in,even after opening two more registers while standing in line. Luckys Market is enjoyable and BTW, $1.79 per KG.
