Hey GrosPied. Here's what a gap would look like. The high trade today on $ARTH was $.79. Let's say tomorrow morning the very 1st trade was at $.81 and the stock kept going up from there. The $.02 difference there is called a gap. In simplest terms, it's a space in the chart where there is no trade.
