All companies are created through Gov laws either Federal charters or State corporate laws. So there is no difference between FnF and BRK/WFC when it comes to incorporation.

There is no significance to vestigial phrase "Government Sponsored Enterprises" what so ever once FnF were privatized.

WB/BRK/WFC are very big in insurance, mortgage finance and real estate.

So it is quite natural to expect that WB/BRK/WFC lobbied hard with OB/Hank/Tim to wind down FnF and harm affordable housing goals.

WB makes big news about philanthropy and making it better for all. WB does not miss any opportunity to talk about morality to do good.

But talking bad of FnF, supporting lawless NWS and wind down of FnF makes no sense. It is simply evil corporate greed.
