I'm not so sure the country is headed in a more liberal direction. The Repubs won both houses and the Oval Office. In the case of marijuana it's more liberal but we have a anti-drug AG who is a utter idiot when it comes to all drugs, period.
Cbd oil is legal at .03% and under I believe. Either way, the pressure is coming from big Pharma to make all hemp derived medications illegal.
Profits over people. We need Big Pharma to buy in and indications are that they are moving that way.
