Yeah I read that article and I will probably read it at least once more because I don't think I understood. One article mentioned the concept contango. I tried looking it up and still did not understand it. I see on google finance and barchart and yahoo finance that TVIX spiked from about 4.5 million to 22.5 million back in October 2011 to January 2012. I would be curious to figure out what that was about.
