I wouldn't be surprised. I have glanced at this index for a while and noticed it usually gets worse and so I recently decided to set up a margin account and start getting into short selling. Although I also got burned shorting this. On August 11, I panicked when I saw this at 3:20 and thought there was more bad news coming and I was afraid of holding over the weekend. So I bought to cover all of my shares at 24.10. And on August 14, I completely missed the 20% initial drop.
