Since ADXS has three poster presentations at AACR (Sept 6-9), two presenting ADXS-PSA trials results, let's look at the prostate cancer market... the size of the prostate market is about $51 BILLION, including surgery, radiation and chemo treatments. Pharmaceutical treatment (??) is about $5-6 Billion in 2017.
If the results are spectacular(either mono, or combo with KEYTRUDA's PD1), Merck will be looking for licensing deal. Obviously Merck already knows the results and the licensing deal could be already in works (time will tell). If the deal is on, Merck might continue with the trials or paying for it with hefty up-front, attractive milestones and royalties.
