Walter I always appreciate your input!! But I don't think Gov Ricketts would put himself on the line in terms of a formal recommendation if this project didn't have a high amount of certitude. Yes we'll never know for certain until the mine is producing, but it's probably as certain as we can be until then!! That's why the FS took
3 years!!! I don't think Mark Smith would put millions of his own personal money into unless he was very sure!! He has been familiar with this project and resource for decades!!! Probably 30 years or more!! It's my understanding Mark was involved back in the 1970's when Chevron Mining and Unocal were debating whether to develop the Elk Creek project or the Brazil Project.
Brazil was chosen because the size and grade were better, and I think it was simply an open pit project?
Also remember Mark Smith was on the board of Directors for CBBM (or CBMM ) I always get the letters mixed up!! Mark knows very well the family that is the principle owner!!!
