Great points Tommy. The big issue is Enphase is last to the punch with AC modules. Other companies have been doing this for years in US and even longer overseas. The other issue is here in the states the nationals are switching to SEDG optimized systems due to their easy adaptation to both battery systems as well as their free monitoring. Solarcity, Sunrun, Vivint, Baker Electric, Trinity, Solar Wolf, & Power Home all use SEDG. These companies combined probably put in 35-40 percent of the residential solar last year. Batteries getting cheaper each quarter it makes it easier to adapt a Stor-edge inverter. Finally Pika is another threat coming out of Maine that has tactfully joined with Panasonic batteries. They are an optimized play as well and are also intent on providing a AC mod.
