One great article folkie.....

Walach is a very astute business man.....and they are going to grow....rapidly now....so are we....lol

Time to consolidate
Capstone has four employees and leases 1,500 square feet in Deerfield Beach. Wallach said the company plans to move into 2,400 square feet and has secured 4,000 square feet of warehouse space in Pompano Beach.

About 50 to 60 percent of sales never enter a warehouse, Wallach said, noting that major retailers save on margin costs by accepting delivery directly from the factories.

Wallach said Capstone plans to enlarge its operations, and bring more functions in-house, now that it has a foothold in the marketplace.

"From a purely strategic standpoint, for getting into the market, it was critical for me to focus financial resources for those areas where we get the biggest return," Wallach said. "We outsourced initially a great many of our services – accounting, distribution, graphic design. Our initial focus was toward product design, administration and sales. Now, as we're growing, we're consolidating our activities because the volume of business can warrant it."

Capstone's next product will be its Lace-lights, a little glow-in-the-dark water tube with floating figurine that fits on any shoe with laces, Wallach said. "We anticipate sales should mirror, if not exceed, our key chain. They'll retail in the $3 to $4 dollar range, under $5."
