Fair enough. I appreciate your point. But what rationale for it at this point? GE has an agenda, and shareholders have paid for it, but robbing shareholders wasn't the end game. It was the means to the end. He has a new, fuel efficient, high capacity fleet. An end to the toxic debt necessary to get it. BDI is up, rates are up. 49% of Heidmar, along with Morgan Stanley. GE's timing is good, but his method has ingrained fear. He's set a floor at $2.75/share. Every businessman I know invests with an expectation of 10x ROI, so that puts PPS at $27, consistent with Ash and Millstone's DD. I can't buy that GE is a spiteful prick who holds shareholders in such distain that every move is calculated to rob them. Like it or not, he just made this company solvent, under two years of severe economic headwinds, albeit in a very ugly way. I may well be wrong, but c'mon. Sell me on something besides this perceived dedication to robbing shareholders. This is the rationale I feel the MM's are going to use between now and December. But admittedly I'm a newbie, here. If I'm wrong, I'm going to pay for it, because I've got a lot of skin in the game. But so far, this looks like a reversal to me.
