The fact is what was stated by the company was a Target date! The company never stated that this "Will" or "Shall" be done by the 15th! Though there are some scare tactics in the works, people need to realize what was actually stated and not what the rumors are!!

We are working to close this acquisition on or before September 15, 2017



Sorry if the fact is not liked or doesn't fits ones position! But it is fact that September 15th is not set in stone! A good lawyer could explain the understanding that "we are working to" as a not set in stone statement! Will or shall would indicate set in stone!
