Go for clock speed first! When building new system you don't want to be on bleeding edge. So build the best last gen system. Which is X99. 6850x unless you need more cores(for your workload). Get the single best graphics card you can within your budget. Don't compress if you don't have to!!! Mechanical hard drives with large capacity are fairly cheep.
