No, I have absolutely no information implicating that there is any bad news behind his resignation.

The only information I have is Peter's reply that claims that it has nothing to do with SIAF news, neither good, nor bad.

This might very well be the case, especially if Yap - or someone in the family - has health issues, or if Yap got a job offer that noone could refuse.

However, unless it's of health reasons, I find it very unprofessional to resign in the midle of the pre-IPO. Especially when it's SIAF and you KNOW that this might be taken as a sign of a failed, or at least a delayed, pre-IPO. I don't know really know of Yap, so I can't judge this towards his character. Luckily the market, at least as of today, didn't interpret it that way.

The CC should be quite interesting though. Either they'll refuse to answer the reason behind the resignation - to which the market will have to speculate, or they might spin it into something positive - replacing him with someone with a shareholder-friendly attititude (ECAB). The PPS might (...) move quite a bit after the CC, although I have no idea in which direction.
